Our Primary tuition programmes are based on the MOE syllabus and they are specially structured to prepare students for their school examinations. We have done extensive research on examination papers of various top schools and have analysed various examination techniques, structuring our teaching curriculum into one that is not only examination-focused, but also one that inspires students to think critically and look at solutions to problems from different perspectives. We conduct our lessons in an interactive learning environment whereby students will be engaged by the teacher in discussions every lesson. We believe that class discussions help students to understand the topics better and it also serves as a way for the teacher to gauge each student’s level of understanding. Students will be using specially printed worksheets with note/questions of varying degrees of difficulty as learning aids. The teacher will guide students through each topic with detailed explanations and the whiteboard will be used as a medium to illustrate concepts and methodologies and convey ideas. Class participation by students is essential in ensuring students keep in pace with what is being taught. The student's classwork will be monitored closely and homework assignments will be given in moderation to be prepared for subsequent lessons. Nearing examinations, the teacher will go through a period of 'drilling' whereby mock examination papers will be worked through in class with students under examination conditions.
